Libraries
The ICB headquarters library, included in the NILDE circuit since 2011 and also in the ACNP national catalog since 2013, boasts a bibliographic heritage of approximately 2,800 volumes, including 25 series, and 82 periodicals. The scientific fields covered, obviously just partially, range from organic chemistry to the chemistry of natural substances, from biochemistry to microbiology. Among the series in the catalog, the most prestigious is “Methods in Enzymology”, Ed. Academic Press, owned by volume 1 (1955) to volume 475 (2010).
The complete catalog of monographs owned can be consulted online (by searching by author, title, keywords, etc.)
The catalog of the printed journals owned can be consulted online
The library is not open to the public. Access is however allowed, for the consultation of books and journals, to researchers, professors and university students and other accredited users of research institutions, upon prior request to be sent via email to the Manager.
For ICB researchers (headquarters and UOS) the document-delivery service is active (request for scientific articles to which one does not have access) through the NILDE platform, a network with about 1000 participating Italian and foreign libraries that allows exchanges between libraries of documents for free. To access the service you need to register as a NILDE user (associated with the ICB-NA library)
Requests from ICB users are managed and processed by the Library Manager.
