Which personal data are collected and why
The personal data provided to the CNR - Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry are processed on the basis of specific legal obligations and for the performance of tasks of public interest (Article 6 of the Regulation).
www.icb.cnr.it does not require the registration of users on the portal with the exception of special cases such as registrations at conferences, workshops, Institute activities etc ...
The data collected through contact forms and/or registration forms for conferences, institute activities and more, will be used exclusively for the purposes of the activity itself, and subsequently deleted.
All information related to the hardware and software used by the user, such as IP address, type of browser, domain name and site from which it operates, are collected and used by www.icb.cnr.it in order to provide a better service to the user and to produce statistics concerning the general use of the site itself.
The user acknowledges that their personal information released, for example in the chat area, will also be available to others.
www.icb.cnr.it invites the user to read the privacy notes also present on the various related sites, and is not responsible for the way in which the latter's privacy is protected.

How long do we keep user's data
REGISTRATIONS TO CONFERENCES, ACTIVITIES AND MORE
All data provided by the users will be kept by www.icb.cnr.it for the time necessary for the purposes of the Institute's ongoing activity and will subsequently be deleted. If the user leaves a comment, the comment and its metadata will be kept indefinitely. This is how www.icb.cnr.it can automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments, rather than keeping them in a moderation queue.

The user has the right to obtain from the Data Processor, in the allowed cases, access to personal data and the rectification or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the processing that concerns them or to oppose the processing (articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation). RIGHT OF COMPLAINT

The information provided by the user by filling in the contact form (name, email address, text of the message) will be processed and stored for the time strictly necessary for the realization of the purpose for which they were collected, i.e. for sending the answer to the submitted question.
Comments
If the user makes comments on www.icb.cnr.it, subject to acceptance of a brief information contained therein, the data shown in the comments form such as name, e-mail and website will be collected. In addition, the IP address and the browser user agent string used by the user will be stored, in order to facilitate spam detection. After approval of the comments, the name, surname and any image of the user's profile will be visible to the public in the context of the comment itself.
