Annarita Poli

Dr Annarita Poli received her Bachelor Degree in Biological Science (Biomolecular curricula) at the University of Naples “Federico II” in 1997 (with 110/110 cum laude). In 2000, Dr Poli graduated with a PhD in Animal Biology at the Università degli Studi della Calabria discussing a thesis entitled “Biosynthesis and functional role of the nitric oxide in Sepia officinalis” carrying out the research activity at the Zoological Station “Anthon Dohrn”, Naples.

December 2001 –February 2020 Researcher at the Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry of C.N.R. in Pozzuoli (Naples).

Present position: since March 2020 Dr. Poli is a Senior Researcher.

Since January 2013 at present, she is a member of Reviewer Board of M.U.R. (Ministry of University and Research) and MiSE (Ministry of Economic Development) for the evaluation of scientific projects and CNR-Scientific Expert, respectively.

Since June 2015- Membership of the UNIVERSITY RESEARCH CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS AND EXTREMOPHILES, Director Prof. Concetta Gugliandolo, at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences of the University of Messina.
